Coca-Cola is ready to take on a whole new universe. The soda brand is partnering up with Disney to launch the Coca-Cola x Star Wars: Refresh Your Galaxy campaign, which will include brand new immersive experiences for fans.
The initiative will include 27 limited-edition Star Wars designs on cans and bottles (on original or zero sugar flavors), beginning in early July. The designs will feature the universe’s iconic heroes and villains, including characters such as Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Darth Maul, Princess Leia, Queen Amidala, Darth Vader, BB-8, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, and more. The designs will only be available in select markets (North America, Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Asia South Pacific).
If you plan on heading to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or Tokyo Disney Resort any time soon, then you may be able to spot three more limited-addition cans that are only available on the parks (featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu, First Stormtrooper, and Chewbacca).
The partnership will launch with a one-minute cinematic advertisement for fans, as well as a new immersive alternate reality hologram experience. All you have to do is scan the Coca-Cola can or advertisement, and you’ll be able to record and share uplifting messages in the style of a holographic Star Wars transmission.

“Star Wars is a powerful cultural force around the world, with millions of fans across generations who carry these stories off the screen and into their lives,” Mindy Hamilton, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships at The Walt Disney Company said in a press release. “This custom campaign is for them and inspired by them.”
Star Wars fans are currently awaiting another movie in the franchise highlighting Daisy Ridley’s character, Rey, but it was recently revealed that it’s been put temporarily on hold. Hopefully, a sip of Coca-Cola in a Star Wars-themed bottle will hold fans over for the time being.
